Another good night

Last night Catherine had her NG tube removed and she is no longer receiving oxygen through her nose. She has also been taken off of the pain med given through her IV. She will get pain meds orally as needed. So, this means that she is closer to being able to go to the floor since she is not dependent on receiving anything through the IV.

Catherine has continued to eat throughout the night. Her nurse said that she had about 2 ounces every 2 hours or so. We are looking forward to a visit from Aunt Jenn and Uncle Mat today. Thanks again for all of your support, reading the comments makes us realize how many people care.

Catherine is certainly a remarkable little girl. It has been great reading about the terrific progress that she is making. I can't wait to read that she is in her new room! Love, Beth

Can't wait to visit when you get your own room. Drink all your formula so you can be home in your own crib soon.

Hello Kim & Dave! I just typed out a message to you and I probably did it wrong because I don't see it, so I'll try again! :) Hope you get this... We have been following Catherine's blog all week long and have been reading each and every entry - wow.. she is an amazing, strong, beautiful little girl. I just loved seeing her little piture - she is so precious and beautiful. We have been praying for her all week and have been thinking of you and your family each and every day. We are so thrilled to read of Catherine's progress - she is doing so great! We are so proud of her! Every time I go to the computer, Will asks to see "Baby Catherine" - he loved her pic with Santa! Sounds like Catherine is doing great! Hope she continues to enjoy her bottles and has another good night! Thinking of you all....
