We spent the day before surgery visiting Santa as well as visiting with family. We continued our tradition of visiting the Santa at White Marsh mall. Christopher was so excited that he ran to Santa to give him a big hug. Catherine enjoyed just looking at Santa. She also enjoyed several kisses from him. Christopher told Santa that he'd like the Mickey raceway and a Candy Land game. Mommy was in charge of speaking for Catherine, she wants Elmo Live and some pretty new clothes. Both Dave and I really enjoyed seeing the excitement in Christopher and watching the amazement on Catherine's face. Hope you enjoy the photo.
After our visit with Santa we met at my parents' house for a nice lunch with GiGi and Pop, and the aunts, uncles, and cousins. It was nice to see everyone before our life gets a little crazy during the next few weeks.
Right now our little angel is sleeping peacefully in her crib while her brother is enjoying a sleepover at Aunt Jenn and Uncle Mat's house. We will be leaving our house around 5 a.m. to arrive at Hopkins by 6 a.m. Will we be updating the blog throughout the day. Say an extra prayer for Catherine and for her surgeons.
